Parenting Classes + Parenting Workshops

Reflecting on family life and family stabilization with other parents can be an excellent way to learn new parenting skills and bring a more balanced life to your home. That’s why Balanced Kids offers a variety of parenting workshops and parent education programs throughout the year.

Parenting workshops are classes or sessions that typically address a specific topic with a group of parents sharing similar experiences. Nina approaches parent classes in two ways - a single, group session on a single topic OR a Parenting Posse or customized support group, which spans a longer period of time with the same group of families and goes more in depth on a specific topic or topics.

Workshops offer parents a chance to hear from other families who are working through similar challenges with their children. Past workshops have covered such parenting and family topics as dealing with emotions, managing children’s challenging behavior through de-escalation, divorcing parents, navigating virtual learning, and bringing feelings into the family home.

Dealing with a particular issue you don’t see here? Balanced Kids can customize a parenting workshop or support group based on your unique needs. Just ask!
